I’m super excited to announce a totally unique experience and addition to my documentary family photography services called: Your Four Seasons!
It’s pretty common to get your family photos taken once a year and, typically, families often choose to get posed portraits in a pretty park or on a bridge and call it good. We already know that my family photography sessions are nothing like that, right? They’re full of candid and genuine, real-life pictures that help families remember exactly what life was like in that particular season. These photos are so valuable and create a legacy for literally decades to come.
So what if we took it one step further? What if, instead of just one session a year, we captured your family once every season for an entire year? < Mind blown! >
But seriously, picture this: you have a baby on the way, she’s due in the steaming hot month of July. You already have a toddler who will rock out being a big brother. We do our first session when you bring your newborn home from the hospital and I photograph your new family of four together in the nursery, in the living room, and even in the sweltering heat outside. Suddenly it’s October and there are pumpkins everywhere, and your newborn isn’t so little anymore. She’s starting to take in the world around her, and the four of you go to Three Cedars Farm in Northville, where your toddler rejoices over donuts and cider and the petting zoo. Then the holidays roll in with the snow and the season is full of firsts all over again, especially for your little girl who’s probably sitting up on her own and trying to figure out how to crawl. Finally, where once there was that blanket of snow and January felt like it still hadn’t ended after 100 days, there is now green grass and blooming flowers and your face feels warm in the sun again.
Then your newborn little girl is one year old, and we make sure to document that too.
Of course, this is only one example. There are so many possibilities, because even if you only ever have one little one, it’s that much more important to choose a documentary family photography package like this, so you have the opportunity to remember exactly what this one year looked like for them and for you.
So here’s a little bit about the package itself:
Okay! That about sums it up. I am REALLY excited about these new documentary photography sessions, and creating legacies for your families. If you’re interested in booking, fill out my contact form or call me! 734.730.3099.
