Tribe of the Beloved – The First Blog Post

It’s always nerve-wracking when it’s time to embark on something new. There are so many “what-ifs,” but if you don’t just pull the trigger, you’re keeping yourself from so many great possibilities.

I’ve been working on the creation of Tribe of the Beloved for months (like, more than half a year). And now I’m at the point where it’s time to pull the trigger, throw it all out on the table and believe that I will make this work despite all those “what-ifs” that keep gnawing in the back of my mind.

So here we are, the very first blog post of my brand new (but not really that new)company. I’m really glad to have you here, especially since this is where I can go a little in depth about the name of Tribe of the Beloved, and lay out my missions statement…or in more poetic wording, my “why.”

First, the name:

I wanted to encompass all my clients in a single title, so I started thinking of words that represent them. I also wanted something so unique that as soon as people hear it, they’ll know my company and my brand and what to expect. Fast forward a few months and the word “tribe” resounds in my mind. It’s often used in reference to families, and I consider my clients as part of my own tribe (after all, we’ve invested so much time in each other, and often enjoy or appreciate the same things), so that word just fell right into place. I didn’t want to forget about my wedding couples, though, so the word “beloved” felt perfect, especially because it absolutely applies for families as well.

Now, the “why”:

Tribe of the Beloved is a company whose sole purpose is to create meaningful, purposeful art from the daily lives of families and from the celebration of marriage. It is to show the beauty amid the chaos and joy amid pain. Tribe of the Beloved is connection, light and love.

If you haven’t already, go check out my site! There’s a ton of valuable information for you there, including a FAQ section and lots of pretty images. Also, if you head over to my Facebook page (www.facebook.com/tribeofthebeloved), I’ve got two videos that go in-depth about what I’m doing and the awesome things to expect in 2018!

Thank you for joining me in this new adventure. I’m so excited to see where it leads, to meet new families and form new bonds, to grow my tribe and capture yours.
